Megabus Launches Budget Travel Coach to Europe

Good news for those who like to budget travel – Megabus, a city-to-city express bus service operating in the UK, is offering new travel routes from London, to Paris and Boulogne in France, Brussels in Belgium, and Amsterdam in the Netherlands. With rates commencing from as little as £1 per person, a £0.50 booking fee on fares, budget travel could offer one way to affordable European vacations.
The double-deck coaches with 48 seats, tables for use during the daytime and complimentary Wi-Fi service leave from Victoria Coach Station in London with the choice of day or night departures. The travel time from London to Paris is around 10 hours, while the journey to Brussels takes around 9 hours, with another 3 hours to Amsterdam.
Holiday travel suffered a setback due to the recession and budget travel seems to have become more popular.
